Our school district has excellent teachers and a successful academic program. Students graduate from high school and continue their education in community colleges, tech schools, military, and universities.
Whether in formal schooling or not, we are to be life-long learners. The advances and changes in the world around us requires that we are continually growing.
Peter, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ, wrote two letters telling people how to live in a world that was rapidly changing and becoming hostile to Christians.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
In the US, we have a freedom that allows us to practice our religion of conviction. But, there are many Christians in other countries who are openly persecuted for their faith. Wherever we live, followers of Jesus are to be life-long learners of Him.
As students of Jesus, we are to grow in His grace, which is His resources for godly living. We are to grow in knowledge of Jesus by deepening our relationship with Him and experiencing Him more each day.
