My granddaughter, Taylor, is just over two months old. She is beautiful and I love her! Right now Taylor only wants two things in life: provision and protection. She wants to be fed and fed often. She wants to be safe, namely warm and dry. We want the same things in the adult format. We want tasty food, nice clothing and a good home. Taylor does not worry about food, cloths or shelter. She is insistent that you do something if she is hungry or wet. She has loving parents (and grandparents) that are taking care of her needs. Jesus tells us not to worry about of food, clothes or shelter because He knows what we need, He loves us and takes care of our needs. Matthew 6:31-34 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
