My daily Bible reading has me in the book of Job. Although, it does not make the top ten longest books of the Bible, with 42 chapters, it is a good sized book.
I was pondering why so much was written about one person's dilemma? I began thinking of the big picture of Job.
So much was written about Job because injustice is such a common occurrence in life. Although, Job's friends were convinced Job did something terrible to be experiencing so many horrific things, Job stood his ground regarding his relationship to his God and his innocence.
We need a reference source when troubles invade our lives. Because I have read the book of Job a few times, I know how it ends. Looking forward to the good ending is a big picture reminder that the best in our lives is yet to come!
