Worry and anxiety are a reflection on how big we think God really is in our world. The disciples of Jesus were fearful while in the middle of a storm in the middle of the Sea of Galilee. They called out to Jesus for help. Jesus scolded them for their worry.
Mark 4:39-41
He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40 He said to His disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey Him!”
It was a real storm with very real implications if they capsized. Jesus’ ability to calm storms was not considered and they were terrified when they experienced what He could do.
