Some look back and see school as the best years of their lives. Others see it as their worse years. The differences sometimes have to do with attitude. Often times it has to do with the acceptance and treatment from others. School can be the best times or a very cruel time.
It should not be surprising that some graduates stride purposefully across the stage to receive their diploma and others give a final message by wearing sunglasses or gesturing rudely. Either way, the good news is that a whole new world opens up for each graduate. Each has opportunity for a fresh start and a new beginning in a setting where there is not history for people to view them positively or negatively.
Graduates have an amazing opportunity of a new start by being in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
How does one “be in Christ”?
By telling Jesus three things: Sorry, Thank you, Please.
Jesus, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life.
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins, my wrongs, so I could be forgiven.
Please, forgive me and I now turn from everything that I know is wrong. Come into my life by Your Holy Spirit, to be with me forever.
Amen!
Congratulations, graduates and step into your destiny!
