A 9-year-old boy got through three levels of security and boarded Delta Flight 1651 headed to Las Vegas on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Officials are piecing information together to determine how this incident happened. The boy was seen on security footage the day before, apparently planning his free ride. The next day he waited until the gate agents were busy and slipped in with a large family traveling. It was not until mid-flight that flight personnel noticed he was traveling alone without a ticket. The 9-year-old has been held in Las Vegas until now and will return home today. It is unknown if he will be flown back, picked up or take another mode of transportation. Early reports indicate the boy already had a rap sheet which included stealing a car. Recent news told that the boy’s mother works at the airport bringing speculation that she aided him. When all the facts are in and sorted, I think the boy is very clever and bold in unfortunate actions. If a person or child is sneaky enough, they can go anywhere but one place without a ticket. Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Nobody is able to sneak into heaven without a relationship with God no matter how clever they are. Even if you have done amazing things using Jesus’ name, you will not be able to board and make heaven your destination. Only those who have a true relationship to Jesus Christ will be known and received by Jesus. Trouble is waiting for this 9-year-old. Do not let trouble be waiting for you or your family.
