This letter can be used to drop off in your neighbor's shopper tube next to their mailbox.
Hello neighbors,
My name is _____. Spouse and I and our children are your neighbors at street and house number.
In this unusual time for our world and communities, we want to reach out, making sure everyone in our neighborhood feels supported and has their basic needs met. Like you, we have been paying close attention to the news about COVID-19 and the changes in our usual patterns of working, shopping, playing, and living in nearly every way. We love living in this neighborhood and want to express to you all our willingness to help, if we are able, if anyone in our neighborhood finds themselves running short of something.
No, we don’t have a stockpile of supplies (we aren’t hoarding!) But what we do have in connection with our work and church communities we will gladly share.
If your household lacks any basic needs, please let us know and we’ll do what we can. It will stay anonymous. You can text or call us and leave a message. We will try to get back quickly. We would be happy to drop something off on the doorstep if you aren’t feeling well.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and thank you for making this a great neighborhood to live in!
